My favorite tool: Building a Voki, I will use it to make autobiographies with my students in order to improve writing and self-esteem.
I learned about how to use technology in my classroom and I am sure students are going to develop the learnig process with more interest and this 11 tools will attend learning styles.
I am still scared of technology, it is a huge challenge for me, but I am sure I can do it!
The big surprise for me is that I am able to apply (with some difficulties) the different tools. I didn't know how easy some of them were.

Tool 11: Digital Citizenship
Here we have one of the most difficult things.
First of all, I will help students to use technology in the appropriate way by explaining to them how to use it safely and responsibly.
Then students and teacher will do a poster with the rules to use technology including some rules suggested by students. The Teacher and the students will follow the rules.
One more thing, do not leave students alone when using technology in my classroom.

Tool 10: Exploring Mobile Thecnology and Apps
Wow! Wow! Wow! Definitely, I want my iTouch, iPhone, and iPad! Santa...Please!
The information is clear, we can use those devices wherever we go. We have our complete library whit us.
The Apps are interesting. Applying those softwares in my classroom will allow enhance the learning experience of my students and transform my classroom into digital learning environment.

Tool 9: Sharing Information Through Jing & Skype
Wow! When students add images to assignments they proyect more enthusiasm and interest in the activity they do. Jing is going to help students to improve writing as well as the topic of any subject. About skype, this is the tool that I use to communicate whit my relatives and friends around the world. It is excellent and the best... It is FREE!

Tool 7: Digital Storytelling
Photo Study is a good tool to improve student's writing. I have used it with my students, specially with those who think writing is boring. They enjoy searching for information, pictures, music, creating voice. Anyone can do it!

This is an exciting tool which will benefit students and is perfect for accommodations when students need more time to finish assignments or for students who need to search for everything that they need.
It is also perfect for teachers who are coteaching lessons. This tool provides a way for teachers to really understand each other and cooperate to make a perfect lesson in less time than it would usually take them.

This tool have taked me long time, and at the end a message appeared saying that was going to take some days to find my bookmarkings.
This tool will help students to get information easily and for those students with limitations in organizational skills, it would be good.

I am not alone...
With these tools I can receive help from others colleagues and improve or add information to my documents. Google reader will help students to search for topics ghey are interested in.

Tool 2 Building Community & Comments
In order to grow professionally, it is imperative to communicate with community who has same goals.
I can say to every teacher that follow my blogs, that this training allows me not only to get the knowledge, but use it every day, and every time. I am sure that students will enjoy it because this tools are related with the technology that they are using every day through video games that students already know. Now students are going to be able to use their knowledge in educational situations.
For me this training is like "Alcatraz" the movie...
"No one has ever escape from 11 tools"... and no one ever will!

GETTING STARTED
I don't know how but I think I got it! It was a little difficult, I have been following step by step. The best part was building my avatar.
I am excited! With these tools I can now use technology into resource room.

Technology is my challenge
Dear Bloggers,
I am a little scared of new technology. When I started teaching in Mexico, our most sophisticated tools were abacus, calculators with basic operations, little stones, sticks, blackboards with chalks, and things like those...
Now? 11 Tools?
Definitely, technology is my biggest challenge in education for now.
